I fell in love with fashion as a young girl watching That’s So Raven. Raven Baxter wasn’t just funny and creative — she was a Black girl chasing her dreams of becoming a designer and modeling her own work. I saw myself in her. 

Around the same time, I was spending hours on Stardoll, dressing up celebrities and absorbing every designer label I could. Fashion quickly became my playground and my escape.

Oyin X Fab began as a teenage alter ego — a reminder to myself that even in my lowest moments, I’m still fabulous. She was born after my first heartbreak, inspired by Rihanna’s “She X” instagram captions era and Kenya Moore’s legendary Gone With The Wind Fabulous line. Oyin X Fab literally means Oyin is Fabulous, and she became my inner Sasha Fierce.

I design for the 1 of 1  girl who’s obsessed with nostalgia, confident, and fully aware of the power she carries. My designs are rooted in 2000s fashion and served with a side of sexy. I like to call it...2000 & Sexy.
